Power Tips: Job and Resource Details

From the Dashboard, open your completed job to view the detailed data CAT captures about each page. At the top of your screen, you'll see a handy summary of all the files found; below, the actual files and details, along with various actions you can take, including viewing each resource individually for even more data.

Job Summary and Details

When you click the Open icon next to a job listing in Completed Jobs, the Job Summary and Detail view opens. The summary provides at-a-glance counts of files found by type.

Filters on file type and status allow you to alter the list of files shown in job details.

Filter by status to find broken (404) pages.

Job Details lists each URL found by CAT (based on your job parameters) and includes data about file type, size, level, and page title. Clicking on the column heads allows you to sort.

Filter your results set to show text/html pages only, then sort by Title to find pages missing a meta-title.

From the Job Detail view, you can also export your job data, review the parameters you set when you ran the job, re-run it, clone and re-run, or delete the job and its data.

Pre-clean up your export by setting filters before clicking export. For example, if you only want to see the html pages and images, but don’t need css, you can filter that out before exporting.

Resource Details

Clicking the green arrow at the end of a row in Job Detail view opens the Resource Details view, which provides a rich array of information for the page.

Here, you can view the metadata (or lack thereof), get lists of all the images, videos, and documents that are associated with that

particular page.

Click on any of the links to view (and save, if you wish) the file.

The Resource Detail view also shows the snapshot-in-time screenshot of the page (if you requested that in Job Setup).

You can open the screenshot in a separate browser window and save it for offline retention if you wish.

Another free text field allows you to add your own notes about the page. Your notes will be included in your export.

Use the Notes field to leave comments to your teammates or to add additional information about the page, such as review status or ownership, or add a sitemap ID.

Finally, the Links In and Links Out lists show you how the page is connected to other pages on the site. These links are clickable, so you can view them in the browser. The lists will also be included if you export the resource details.
